My career as a journalist spans two decades, mostly at the BBC, where I have worked as a TV and radio presenter, and as a reporter. The stories I have covered range from the death of Pope Francis and election of Pope Leo XIV, presidential elections in Brazil and the US, and the January 6th Capitol riot. I am particularly interested in how issues such as populism and faith shape politics and vice versa.
